Guest guest
Hi group! I have been on the Alli diet for a week now. So far, I see no effects, good or bad. Has anyone in this group tried the diet? And if so, how did it work for you? Did it effect your MS in any way? I've got quite a bit of weight to lose. According to this diet, you have to cut calories and fat, and exercise more often. Well, that makes sense, right? I don't get much activity, but I did go and purchase a pedometer so I can start counting my steps. I am trying to work up to at least 10,000 steps a day. That may sound a lot easier than it is. I have found myself walking in place just to get those extra steps in. Since it is so hot here, I have to stay indoors more. Not that it's any cooler inside, but for me it is safer since I have a tendency to fall. Last night, I joined an Alli support group. I haven't yet met anyone. But, there is a little over 30 members in the group. I'm hoping that some of them are still active. I am interested in learning about any of this group's experiences with the diet, if there are any. Have a great day! Love and blessings... Val
Guest guest
Val, the actual OTC product, Alli, causes your body's lipase to become inactive, thus giving you--while you consume it--partial cystic fibrosis of the pancreas: no lipase, the enzyme needed to digest fats. This can be very dangerous. I hope that you are not using the product! Love, n, Alarmed in Oakland Alli Hi group! I have been on the Alli diet for a week now. So far, I see no effects, good or bad.
