Guest guest
Around day 30 I started seeing rashes, red rings under her eyes, sniffles and my daughter started to get sick -stomach flu and kroup (sp?) when she used to never get sick -she was very hyperimmune. The symptoms would come and go throughout this time. Guest guest
I saw it immediately - I'm talking next day. But not everyone gets results that fast. How long have your child been on it? Guest guest
We are still in Week 1 and saw more words, combined words & increased eye contact. It is not dramatic but enough to be noticed. On the negative side - little hyperactivity, mild fussiness while eating etc.Arpita, how much is your dosage? To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Thu, July 1, 2010 2:30:45 PMSubject: Re: How long I'm around day 50 of Valtrex and seeing nothing. > > For those of your who have done valtrex or acylovir - how long did it take before you saw improvements? >
Guest guest
We saw rashes from the beginning and had healing regressions for 60-90 days. It was after that we saw gains. However, it wasn't until our Dan took my boys off against my wishes, then I realized how much with everything it helped, especially sensory problems. My more severe kid was just better all the way around. He hasn't been the same since taking him off. We just got back on Zovirax, and he's a little better. My point to the rambling is that sometimes I don't realize how much something is helping until we try a trial off. Same thing happened with the gf/cf diet and ldn. But I would leave your kiddo on the valtrex for at least 3 months and if it's still not helping, try another one. You should see at least a lessening of some symptoms. It was better eye contact and decrease in sensory problems, and increased language. Hth. Guest guest
i am not aware of any mito issues here. i asked my doc to try antiviral bcuz my son was constantly sick and would regress so severely. since starting he has started playing with our dog and interacting with my daughter; he has started immitating and is all around happier. he is doing worlds better at school as well. regression- die off related i believe bcuz it lasted very short term- major tantruming and irritability; very minor rashes; biggest regression is with potty training.y To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Thu, July 1, 2010 7:44:02 PMSubject: Re: How long Rhonda & , What improvements & regressions did you see on Valtrex? Guest guest
We had the rashes, they came and went, and would come back again. My son went from getting kicked out of two preschools to needing a shadow and lots of other support, to a typical classroom, no shadow, age appropriate speech, play skills, etc., TWO best friends, loss of OCD, sensory issues, and AMAZING contact. We noticed the improvement on day 2. And each day it gets better and better. The only downside was some yeast and die off...for the yeast: we use an azole, plus other Rx & natural antifungals, for die off: Activated charcoal (2 caps), lots of water, 2 cups epsom, every night, compounded dye free ibuprofen. To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Fri, July 2, 2010 7:10:43 PMSubject: Re: How long i am not aware of any mito issues here. i asked my doc to try antiviral bcuz my son was constantly sick and would regress so severely. since starting he has started playing with our dog and interacting with my daughter; he has started immitating and is all around happier. he is doing worlds better at school as well. regression- die off related i believe bcuz it lasted very short term- major tantruming and irritability; very minor rashes; biggest regression is with potty training.y From: Kay <kp_mlistyahoo (DOT) com>To: mb12 valtrex@ yahoogroups. comSent: Thu, July 1, 2010 7:44:02 PMSubject: Re: How long Rhonda & , What improvements & regressions did you see on Valtrex? Guest guest
My girls were on acyclovir to help the full moon psychotic episodes. I believed it was parasites or viruses. As long as the girls were on Acyclovir they were OK. I asked my doctor about why the acyclovir was not killing whatever it was. Everytime we tried to go off it we had these episodes. She suggested trying the Alinia. > > > > we are on acyclovir. within 2 weeks i saw improvents > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > From: W <nicolewallaceouaf@> > > To: mb12 valtrex > > Sent: Thu, July 1, 2010 2:16:54 PM > > Subject: How long > > > >  > > For those of your who have done valtrex or acylovir - how long did it take before you saw improvements? > > >

Guest guest
Hi My son is on his second week of valtrex and diflucan. His hyper has increase and laughing on his own very frequent. I suppose this is myeast flares up. How should cope with this? He is on candidase, oil of oregano, interfase plus nad garlic extract as well. To see positive result, is SCD a must. My son dislike vege and fruits. So, SCD seems nearly impossible especially he loves cookies(cfgf cookies) so much.
