Guest guest
Dear Sara, I'm glad to hear that is sleeping well. Jack has been sleeping through the night with his twin brother in the same bed. I am worried that when he gets his band he will not sleep and in turn wake up Ben. We have had him sleeping in the Noggin Nest because he will not stay off the flat side. The Nuero said he did not have tort but we are trying to get a PT to check him out too. I'm kinda nervous about him wearing the band to church, and I'm glad you had a good experience. I see that lots of people put their kids name on the band and I wasn't sure if it made a difference. Can you a name/stickers to a STARband that has a design on it already? We picked out the jungle friends design. Thanks, and Jack 12/9/04 twin A STARband due in April 19 Greenville, SC In a message dated 4/6/2004 11:26:33 AM Eastern Daylight Time, snydertsc@... writes: Lat night was his first full night in it and he slept great. It definitly has been a harder adjustment for me. People haven't been as bad as we thought either. Sunday was the first time he wore it out and it was to church and people just asked what was wrong and I told them. Most of them already knew about the problems he had in the past. It also helped that I put his name on the front. People just say that he looks like a little football player. (he's big like a football player too) I'll try to post some pictures of him in his band if I can and I'll put his before pictures on. Thanks for all your support. I feel like I am well informed and I know exactly what questions to ask the orthotist and what to look out for. Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm sorry it took me so long to respond but its been crazy around here. We went on Friday to get measured again for the new band. 's head had changed a little bit I think because he started sleeping on his tummy. But the Orthotist talked to Orthomerica and they agreed to make a new band. I guess it just shows us how far off 's ears are. The earpiece is ok for now and he is going to wear the original band until the new one comes in which is good. It fits really well otherwise. We haven't had any problems with deep red spots just the light pink that fades right away, and they are on the high spots. I am very hopeful about it. I keep thinking I see a difference already in his forehead. Maybe I'm crazy. seems to be adjusting well. Lat night was his first full night in it and he slept great. Guest guest
Sara: I'm happy to hear they're being so proactive about the band fit concerns & have ordered up a new one. It's also good he can wear his current band in the mean time. I hope the new band comes in quickly! Let us know. Guest guest
Sara, I'm glad that is getting a good fit, albeit the earpiece problem, with his current helmet, and can wear it until the new band comes in. Since he was measured on Friday, did they tell you about 2 weeks for it to come in? Please let us know how the fitting goes with his new Starband. Take care, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) > Hi everyone, > > I'm sorry it took me so long to respond but its been crazy around > here.
