Hi Esther,

It's great to hear you're ok and have seen a doctor. You are sounding

postive and determined.

J's information about the vagus nerve sounds very feasible and this

could be correct. I have heard of this happening to a relative who has

also had abdominal surgery but did not relate it to our surgery. Relax

now and njoy your Gold Class cinemas & night out tomorrow night. The Green

Mile should be good. I went to see American Beauty tonight and without

telling anything about the movie, it is a must see.

Kay: I have read about your port being removed and that it will be

replaced. Why would this be necessary? If your at the meeting I'd like to

hear more.

Randall: 29th sounds ok to me and will do my very best to get there. (wish

I had that second car)! I know where the school is.

Years back I took my kids to a playgroup there when we lived in Albion

Street (off Punt Rd).

: Glad your fill to 3.8 went ok. I have 3.9 and if I can keep busy

and not think about food I manage ok. I think 4 would work well for me.

Aly: I received your message ok.

: Good luck with those precious eyes. I have been trying to talk my

hubby into having this done but he says he prefers to wait until there are

too many success stories. It would be good for him to hear yours.

Everyone: Have the best weekend and I hope to be able to meet most of you

at the meeting.

cheers

Stormy (Gail)

Thanks for your encouragement. Can you let us know how much you lost and

did you enjoy eating still?

I would really be interested in your story, if you wouldn't mind telling me

(hehehe sorry I am really hungry for everyone's stories, as I make one of

the biggest decisions of my life).

hi all

went to see my surgeon today- had 0.1 taken out (as I was loosing a

little weight) am now hopefully at the right stage and will not need to

have to have any more in or out and should stablise at 55 kilos. He does

not think I should loose anymore wieght - he thinks 55 is a good point for

me to be at.

He told me he did not need to see me anymore (unless of course I had any

problems) - I was in shock, (I sort of used his office as a safety net if

I got into trouble and gained weight). It seems weird to me that I will

not have to return. (hopefully never).

I will stay on the list as I thoroughly enjoy it and am happy to give any

positive vibes or help if needed. You guys are a great bunch of people and

I feel I would be lost now without the list.

To all the newbies out there - the band does work - but as they say we are

all different.

I have just boought my first 2 piece swimming outfit since I was a child.

My bottoms are a size 8 and my top is a 12. I was impressed as to how I

looked in them. I actually looked better in the 2 piee than the 1 piece!!

so good luck to all of you and carry on loosing

Hi everyone...

Just wanted to get a chance to write before we leave tomorrow...Ty goes for another Remicade...and most of you know that this is a very trying day for us....

he also has not been feeling well the last couple of nights...running temps of 101.5.....and all over not feeling well...spleen feeling uncomfortable again...he usually starts his medrol pack the day before his infusion...but we started a day early since he is running the temps..his doctors feels that we are going to have to look into doing more since Ty barely makes the 4 weeks inbetween infusions....the same thing happened last month with the temps...

So if you could just keep him in your thoughts tomorrow...in hopes that he gets thru another treatment...

and it is finally happening...Ty's Make a Wish trip will start on Monday ..the 16th...we are all pretty excited...it has taken alot to get this all together...since it is not a very normal wish...lol...well that is my Ty....

well I will hopefully be talking here again before we leave....

thanks in advance..
