Guest guest
Mine broke (the heating element doesn't work anymore) after a year and a half. I enjoyed it while it worked but won't buy another one if they are only going to work for a year. Take care, Becky in Chesapeake, VA > I've been thinking of buying a food saver vacuum sealer so my baked goods and > squash chipss will stay fresh longer. Guest guest
Re: anyone use a Food Saver vacuum sealer? I had a Food Saver Vacuum sealer and hated it. I felt it was much easier and cheapier to use ziploc bags from Walmart. Blessings, Doreen scd 7 days 12, asd, scd 7 days! a.. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/ b.. Guest guest
I have to say that I love my foodsaver. I really like the canning jar option. I make broth and seal it in the jars and freeze. Muffins should be pre-frozen before sealing so that they don't squish. We also buy meat in bulk. Hamburger we repacking into 1 1/2 lb blocks. Two thumbs up for food saver.
