Guest guest
Summer holiday!I've been buried in paperwork for some weeks now - but finally, the semester has ended and the summer holiday is here. I feel like a kid when the last tones of "Idas sommarvisa" [ie. Ida's summersong] and "Den blomstertid" [i.e. The time of flowers] has faded out in the church where the ceremony traditionally ending the school year of the early grades was held. I want to work on my bike, or take a buddy with me to walk down an abandoned rail track just to see where it leeds, or just lay down in the shadow with a brand new copy of a "Famous five" or "Secret seven" by Enid Blyton and a bag of candy and a soda. OK, so I don't have a bike anymore, and if I did my old knees would probably prevent me from doing any real work on it, and and I actually did walk down the only abandoned railway track in the area that I'm aware of a couple of years ago... But you get the picture though... And, while I have (sort of...) left the Enid Blyton series behind I do have a more "grownup" detective story bought me for my birthday to pick up and begin with. I suppose it's just the shadow and candy and soda that's missing... love and summersun/Reb
