accessible housing info needed

Do any of you know where one accesses funding for building an accessible

home?? A friend who has MD and whose daughter has MD are building a new

home that will be fully accessible to meet their future needs. I'm not

sure where to direct her for funding, but I know it's out there. I

suppose it's different in every state. My first thought is that this

would be thru the Dept of Rehab Services but it might be income

dependent. If anyone knows more, please share.
