Guest guest
Thanks Nadia for for the contact. My name is I was banded on the 12/12/2000 I have not lost any weight at all yet but I know it will happen soon. My uncle had the band a few years ago and he looks great. My doctor was copp in Ipswich and I must say he is just great. Very caring and really knows his work I can tell you. I find the band groups extremley useful to obtain the info I need. Thanks to all the people who leave such great messages. Regards from Ipswich
Guest guest
Welcome welcome welcome It seems a few people had the band in december and it will be great watching you all drop the weight over the next few months. Copp doesn't seem to be in the list of surgeons on the web site. Must be time to update our list. Do you have his details? I am sure once you settle down the weight will start to come off. Even after that you will be able to have fills which will encourage even more weight loss. I am sure you will find all sorts of useful info from the troops on this list, I know I did. Guest guest
Yes I would love to come to the meeting were is it and can i bring my 2 year old as i may not have a sitter on the day. RE: a newbie to the group Hi all, Firstly congrats to all you newly banded, and those whose weight is coming off no matter how fast or slowly, at least it is going. Also to those who haven't gained, at the moment I would love to be there. , We are having a meeting in Brisbane on the 13th it would be great if you could come. , you can block the oddballs using your email program. This will stop you getting messages from them. Randal, you make me laugh. Other people, however, don't have your imagination otherwise they could find far more interesting words than those. I am going to the hospital tomorrow for my pre-op clinic, what fun. I tried to explain that I had already spoken to about all aspects of the switch, the reply I received was "if you don't come to the clinic your surgery will be cancelled". I also tried to explain that I work in aged care visiting people in their homes and we have several people off work at the moment and some of my clients may not get seen if I have the day off, could I make it next week again "if you don't come to the clinic your surgery will be cancelled". So flexible. Never mind the upside is I am meeting a couple of the Brisband girls for coffee afterwards, WHAT FUN!! Jo
