Guest guest
Does , or anyone know how much flax seeds it takes to equal the one tablespoon of flax oil? And will the seeds still have the same benefit as the oil as far as the omega 3's go? I am getting real sick of this oil but I love the seeds in a bowl with some splenda and cream with a bit of vanilla added in.
Guest guest
They look like bird seeds, the ones I put in a special feeder for the birds. the doctor said to grind them up or soak them over night. So what does everyone else do with those flax birdie seeds? NNN

Guest guest
Hi JJ, Where do you buy flax seeds? Can you get them at Wal-mart? That's the only big store close by me. Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- ....one last question, must I count the fiber in Flax seeds for atkins? Are you referring to counting it as carbohydrate? No you don't HAVE to. Some low-carb plans tell you that the fiber can be subtracted and does not count. It is true that it is digested and utilized differently in the body. Some folks do count it, and are very strict with the carbohydrate count. I personally am not that rigid. It is your call. Kara, I get them in the bulk section in a natural food co-op here. You could call your Wal-Mart and see if they have them there. Some health food stores would have them as well.
