Guest guest
Another thing that is related to the MTHFR mutation is midline hernias. I have no idea if this is related, but my DAN just told me this the other day as he was helping me prepare my 2 yo for a TRIPLE hernia correction (one abdominal and 2 inguinal - groin). I am pretty sure I, too, have the MTHFR mutation and I have to say that with my 2yo's pregnancy I was very malnourished (hyperemesis until 29th week of pregnancy), so ya think my folate was optimized? I think not (I did not know anything about this stuff back then)... Just a thought to add but I have no idea if it's relavant to the discussion!!! LOL! Maybe I'm just venting b/c on top of pandas, chiari, autism and everything else going on in my house, now I have to deal with hernia surgery...sigh. > > > > > > > You know what strikes,me as weird?
