Guest guest
Illene, My oldest girl was queen of the nose bleeds for awhile. they put her on allergy meds and she used the salt spray. what they found though was that it had bled daily for so long that she had a secondary staph infection in there. she was put on antibiotics for that and it took a year for it to clear up. we are so glad that it finally stopped happening. she gets nose bleeds when she is upset too sometimes -- i think that it has something to do with blood pressure; perhaps her blood rushes to her head or something like that. Hope you get it worked out soon > From: iskarthgrp@... > Subject: nose bleeds > > Hi all, > > A few weeks ago I asked a question about nose bleeds. Guest guest
Hi AJ, Infection was checked out so was allergy and my blood pressure usually stays at 110 over 70. My nose does get very dry so the ent dr. gave me a saline spray to keep it moist. Because of the nose bleeds I became anemic which also causes the nose to bleed. I am taking iron pills. Hopefully that will help. Tune in for the next chapter of " The Bleeding Nose " . LOL Luv and hugs, Ilene You only have one life. Live it to the fullest. Guest guest
Jill, Thanks for the infor. When I saw the ENT dr. he could not find anything to cortarized. Everything was find. I use the saline solution and gel. When I do start to bleed I only have to pinch my nose for about 30 seconds and it will stop. The bad thing from all this besides being annoying is I have become very anemic which I am now being treated for. Luv and hugs, Ilene You only have one life. Live it to the fullest.
