Guest guest
Hi Jeanette, Welcome to the group! I think your idea of a playgroup for plagio babies in your area is a wonderful idea. Although our aggressive repositioning treatment for our daughter Remy is long since over now (she is 24 months), I still look around when I'm out and about for any helmeted/banded babies; we certainly felt isolated (except for the communication with people in this support group) when we were dealing with plagio. I know we have group members in your general area, so hopefully they will see your subject line and respond. That's wonderful that your son's tort is resolved. Also, I'm happy to hear that he has adjusted to his DOCband so well! I hope you all see some rounding very soon! Would you keep us posted on his progress from time to time? Guest guest
Hi Jeannette & welcome! We have many NJ area members in our group who I'm sure will reply to you. That's a great idea. In fact, a couple former regular posters (Rhonda/Kerri, where are you 2??) had a plagio playdate scheduled several mos ago, unfortunately, they had to cancel it due to a band snow storm, I don't think it ever actually took place. But we've had other members in Atlanta & Dallas who got together at a park & a rodeo for their little plagio picnics! I hope you'll get good responses. Glad to hear how well your son is doing w/both his tort & plagio! Please keep us posted on his progress. Guest guest
Hi Jeannette, Welcome to the group! How cute your son tries to put his band on when you take it off . What a great idea to get a group of banded babies together! I wish I lived closer! , mom to Hannah, DOC #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > Hello, > > My name is Jeannette and I have a 10.5 month old son, who was > diagnosed with Torticollis at 5.5 months old. Guest guest
Hi Jeannette, Welcome to the group. I used the Cranial Tech in NJ and loved them. Aren't they great? I bet if you asked them if you could put up a flyer stating that you're looking for parent's of banded babies for play dates, they'd say yes. I think that would be your best bet. What is your son's name? Keep us posted on his progress and your play group. > Hello, > > My name is Jeannette and I have a 10.5 month old son, who was > diagnosed with Torticollis at 5.5 months old.
