No more dinners for awhile....

I am numb tonight...I had a New Year's Day/My husband's birthday dinner today.

I had 12 people so I had 2 tables for people to eat at. I happened to sit at the

table with nada. Somehow we started talking about people's diversity- Nada's

response was. " I hate ni--ers! " I am sorry I am even having a hard time writng

the word- because I think it is so disgusting- and I am so sorry, but I just had

to share this. I was mortified. Then she started on her soap box about her

feelings. I finally told her to knock it off and think of the other people

there.

I truly at that moment was in slight hate towards nada- then I thought I will

not hate like nada hates. I have never been so embarassed- and I will never get

how one person could be so rude and ignorant of other people's feelings. I am

drained.....no more dinners for awhile.
