Guest guest
Hi Amy, Not sure what happened, I just posted a response, but my post didn't go through? Here goes again =) I'm sorry I missed your original post, but have a crib repo idea for you if this is the route you decide to take. I placed egg crate foam in 's crib about a month ago. (It's what is used in nursing homes, but available for purchase in regular stores.) I just took the mattress out, cut the foam to size, and placed it between mattress and mattress pad. It really cushions the otherwise " hard " mattress. Wish I would have thought about it sooner! Oh...I'm not sure if this would be a good idea or not for younger infants due to the risk of SIDS (even though the extra cushion may be better for their heads than those hard crib mattresses). Best of luck, Kel (currently repo'ing 8 month old ) > > We're still debating about leaving a helmet on our Aidan, switching > > to a DOC Band or just leaving it alone.
