Hi Amy,

Not sure what happened, I just posted a response, but my post didn't

go through? Here goes again =)

I'm sorry I missed your original post, but have a crib repo idea for

you if this is the route you decide to take.

I placed egg crate foam in 's crib about a month ago. (It's what

is used in nursing homes, but available for purchase in regular

stores.) I just took the mattress out, cut the foam to size, and

placed it between mattress and mattress pad. It really cushions the

otherwise " hard " mattress. Wish I would have thought about it sooner!

Oh...I'm not sure if this would be a good idea or not for younger

infants due to the risk of SIDS (even though the extra cushion may

be better for their heads than those hard crib mattresses).
