EDS is Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a genetic connective tissue

disorder (i have it + passed it on to the kids, just means we're all

very bendy).

SOD is Septo-Optic Dysplasia, a rare condition which causes

malformations in the brain, resulting in hormone deficiencies

and a lot of the time blindness.
