Guest guest Posted May 14, 2003 Report Share Posted May 14, 2003 uh-oh... jim's hospital just phoned... at 2am this morning, they lost their power... the nurse i spoke with said it had nothing whatsoever to do with the accident on the interstate... which ALSO happened at 2am this morning. huh? she's gotta be mistaken, since the power lines fell across the interstate quite near where the hospital is located. well... whatever. bottom line is, jim's bottom has escaped a colonoscopy... for the time being. and poor jim is currently at work, all prepped for a colonoscopy which will now NOT take place. :-( the nurse wanted to offer jim the option of remaining on a liquid diet until the weekend, to avoid re-prepping. as i didn't want to be the bearer of bad news, i suggested the nurse call jim's cell phone directly! after which, jim called here to say "hey, no big deal, i'm going to enjoy a nice, normal lunch and just re-prep on friday... so could you phone the pharmacy and make sure they set me aside another nu-lytely?" what a guy! maureen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
