Dear Ladies,This may sound like a silly question, but if I had a bilateral in June, with no reconstruction yet, will they still do mammo if I have nothing left??? Have prescription for Tamoxifen from Oncologist last week - told me to wait to fill it until these third-degree burns heal from radiation on my underarm. Without lymphs there, healing has taken longer than most...trials and tribulations!!!! lol Best to all of you,
Guest guest
My surgeon told me " if we did a mammogram on the side that was mastectomied, you would never speak to us again. " (The pinch would be so terrible.) That's all I know. I haven't had my first follow- up mammogram yet. Guest guest
I had a single mastectomy; they do a chest x-ray every year on that side.
