Guest guest
Jane, I am so happy to hear that is not judged severe. Many moms of babies who are moderate, as your son is, do pursue treatment based on personal situation. I wanted to point out that if you are in any way still interested or wondering about treatment, the Starband location also in England (listed in the Helmet/Band Database), Medistox, might be worth a call. The Starband brand of active band is designed for use in babies up to 18 months old, with varying degrees of plagio, so 's age and severity would be definitely within that range. I'm not sure what range of treatment Dr. Blecher's helmet is normally, or if he will only treat severe cases after a certain age. I know here in the U.S., we have many different brands of helmets and bands, and since only a few are appropriate for use for older babies, sometimes we have to shop around and find one with a treatment protocol that fits the particular situation. Please let us know if we can be of any help, and I hope you do continue to visit with us from time to time! Guest guest
Jane, is certainly not too old to see correction from a helmet. Did Dr. B say he just didn't suggest it or that he wouldn't do it? Would he do it anyway if you had a prescription? If you are unhappy with 's head as it is now, as nobody and tell you for sure if it will get better, than I'd seek a second opinion or something. , mom to Hannah, DOCband #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > > > Hi Everyone > > > Thanks for all your emails/advice and support.
