Now, isn't that a fine birthday present!

Happy Birthday, Sharon,

Love,

n

Fw: our new homestead

Hi everyone!!!I'm moved! My daughter-in- law drove me up to our new home early Thursday morning with our 5 dogs and 7 cats. We're off-grid so I'm limited in the amount of computer time I have right now until we make some improvements in the existing power system. We have a combination of wind and solar already but we want to add more solar panels and upgrade our wind generator. I'm also limited in computer time because we are on extremely slow dial-up until our Wild Blue is installed on Saturday. With the slow dial-up everything takes so long it eats up my battery on my laptop.I really do love it here. We have established fruit trees such as plum, nectarine, almond, peach

and apricot. We also have other trees-- honey locust, Cedar, Chinese elm, poplar, etc. We also have lush ivy growing over the house, Virginia Creeper (my favorite) and a bank of lilac bushes. We have a chicken coop (to buy chicks for :) and a shop/barn. The house still needs repair but it is coming along. The best part???? I have already seen Challis and her girls twice and her boys and husband once. They came over yesterday for a late birthday party for me. Challis made an Applesauce Spice Cake with home whipped Whipped Cream. It was wonderful! I got some special gifts and cards from the kids, some goodies (I have hidden), an insullated bag for shopping, a beautiful handmade wooden turned bowl

from (Challis' hubby)...... .. and other cool stuff. I am hoping I will start feeling better soon. MS has been limiting my abilities, much to my dismay. The air is clean here and I feel like I'm detoxing my body. We were living in the Phoenix Valley and it has been under ozone alerts complete with warnings for children and elderly to stay inside and for others to limit their time outside. I was being poisoned!

You sound so happy Sharon. I'm glad you are closer to Challis now. Life is too short to not be able to spend time with your family. I wish I was moved. We started in March, hoped to be in by April, but my mom got sick. Steve has been dragging his feet. Today we move some furniture finally. Your new place sounds nice. YAAY!!! I am SO glad you're *home*, finally! Now you can get on with life! Hopefully your health will improve. Cities can be quite toxic. They're good for visiting but I wouldn't want to live there! Finally!! I am so happy for you. The place sounds wonderful! I hope that everything works out well for you and you are so showered with blessings that you drown in them. LOL This place should be a lot better for your health. Just basking in all the beauty should give you a jump start on recovering from your MS woes. I know when I moved, it was like a complete change, going from darkness to light.

What a wonderful birthday. You are so fortunate to have such a loving family. It really shows.

Lifting you daily...

Sincerely,

Val
