Guest guest
Chantelle, Does your boss know that you have seizures? It would probably be best if you told them at work and/or wore a medical bracelet. While you only have temprol lobe ones at the moment, there is always the possiblity that you could have a grand mal or drop seizure. Under the ADA, one cannot fire a person from their job because of a disability, unless it is interfering with thge job and even then they are susposed to make accomodations for it. I would think that Canada had something like this. It's understandable that you don't want to loose your job but at the same time your safety and well being should always come first. Guest guest
Sandy, My son , now 5, started having seizures when he was 1 1/2 years old. I live in Mountain House, California (between Livermore and ). We are seen at Children's Hospital in Oakland. I would suggest trying to see Dr. Candida Brown. She seems to be the most well liked (2 other Moms take their kids to see her). Kristi, I think we started e-mailing last year and have been so busy we lost touch. I think it would be terrific to get together. I am not able to go to the conference this year, but would love to hear about it if you are going. Let's all keep in touch with regards to that.
