Guest guest
Thanks for that Sandy, I have heard good stuff about Dr Blecher! I have emailed him yesterday with a photo of Goerges head taken from above - I already have an appt on 21 June but am asking if he can see me quicker. 10 weeks only?! that sounds good, must have been a good result quickly? Congratulations and thanks so much! Janex > > > > Thanks for that , I live in United Kingdom - > > > Portsmouth... Guest guest
Hello Jane Is 21 June the date he gave you or the office gave you? Maybe you can get in faster if you email him directly again. He usually is really good and quick. Willow was only banded for 10wks b/c she was 6months old at the time and the growth was rapid. Her head is not perfect, but if you didn't know you would never see it. Of course I do b/c I'm her Mom and I have all the time in the world to sit here and look at my beautiful baby girl. ) She will be 1 on the 2nd of June. I think that banding was the best thing we have done for her and if I had to do it over again the only thing I would change is to email Dr. Blecher right away. We waited on the official appointment which was at the time 21/2months out. I have a question for you as well. Were you also told that there was no treatment in the UK? I'm just curious. Thanks again and keep us updated on the appointment. Do you have pictures in the photo section of your son? Please do take plenty of pictures so you have something to base correction on. Guest guest
Hi Sandy, That was good advice, it was the office and not him that gave me the date. I emailed him with photos and he says that he doesnt recommend treatment as it is not too severe (moderate) and the age of (14 months nearly.) He said as his head grows it will look less. Thank you so much again Janexx > > > > > > Thanks for that , I live in United > > Kingdom - > > > > > > > Portsmouth... Guest guest
Hi Jane We are London and thanks to the help of this group (and especially Ian) we managed to get to see Dr Blecher very quickly. He is really good - my son was casted the same day and we get our band a week today. Can't recommend him enough. Good luck - keep in touch and let us know how you get on.
