Guest guest Posted January 1, 2001 Report Share Posted January 1, 2001 I just remembered, there is going to be an " informal " meeting of Melbourne Bandsters at the Cotton Lounge, 26 Toorak Road, South Yarra, for those who are still in town and have a desperate need to see each other and talk about band stuff. This was arranged over the dying embers of the now legendary Avenue Hospital Meeting in December with two freshly banded members in attendance. Can someone recall the date? Is it the third Tuesday as per usual ... the 16th? Otherwise, the next regular Melbourne meeting will be on the third Tuesday in February, the 20th. I guess we have to start thinking about a new regular venue, as I no longer have a child at the school and may not be a school councillor beyond April ... though I may be co-opted ... we'll see.
