Where Did The Jolly Fat Man Go?

Since dropping most of my blubber in the past three years, I have less

people trying to harpoon me, too. I think jolly and fat go hand in chubby

hand as a sort of defence mechanism, as do sarcasm and self-deprecation. I

still have the mouth and the ammunition, but not the reason, so I really

have to watch myself. I find it really hard to take a compliment and still

find it difficult to buy clothes, even though I'm off the rack with no " X " s

in the size any more. There was also a lot of discussion a year or so back

about the fact that you are treated as a sexual person again, too ... shall

we go there again, girls? I did it mainly to stop my children being teased

.... or so I tell myself still ... and that has worked. My youngest didn't

recognise me last night in a bit of old video. That was nice.
