Hi Robyne,

I'm glad is adjusting well! You are absolutely right in that

the band will shift some. The more severe the headshape, the

more " teetering " it will do. I posted a picture in my daughter's

folder (Hannah B) from the day she got her band called " Gap " that

gives a good visual of this. She has right sided plagio, so the

band basically only touched securely in the bulging back left and

front right, creating kind of a teetering effect. As they fill more

of the band when their shape improves this will decrease.

Zander just got his band yesterday and his also shifts like you said

's does. I'm thinking it's normal, but I hope someone

experienced will chime in. Good luck with everything! I'm glad to

hear is doing well.

Hi there

My daughter was in a different band, but I do believe they all shift

when they first get them, and after every adjustement. As long as

he is adjusting well, and there are no redspots this is usually

nothing to worry about.

Robyne,

That's wonderful news to hear that is adjusting very well to

his DOCband, through his nap and everything else! Although I don't

have personal experience with the band (we did repo-only for our

daughter), I have read that slight tipping or shifting can be

normal; I'll yield to the experts who have already replied to your

post!

Would you keep us updated on how 's rounding is coming along

throughout his treatment?

Thank you for sharing,
