I am just so sorry to hear about April needing to go in. I sure do hope they can treat her without hospitalizing her. I can't remember, but is she on Prednisone? That is known to cause weight gain, but even at that, 20 pounds is a lot of weight to gain. My heart always breaks even more when it is a little child who is suffering with this. It's on the high side, but not that high, really. Good luck. I wouldn't be too scared of that blood pressure - it's high, but not dangerously so for the short term. Let us know how that ER visit goes.
