Sharing fears and excitement with parents going through the same stuff.Anyhow, My 13 month old daughter Kaitlyn got the DOCBAND today! It went very well! She disliked it being put on but once it was on and a few minutes went by she dealt very well with it.The long drive was actually the only yucky part out of the whole situation, lol.I am just so happy that after all this fighting for a helmet since she was 4 months old it has actually come true! Though she is older I have faith it will to its "job" and Kaitlyn will have a better shaped head before you know it.I will be updating her pictures in the Plagio kids under KAITLYN tomorrow with her in her helmet. Again thanx everyone for input and support.Robin in Ohio mom to 13 month Kaitlyn (DOCband started 7-16-04, mild Tort)For more plagio info
Guest guest
I am glad Kaitlyn is doing well with her band. Sorry you have such a long drive. I was lucky we only had a 10 to 15 minute drive. I cant wait to hear about her progress and see her pictures. Angie and Jenna(STAR grad) Kaitlyn got her helmet today! > Just another update...I love this group! Guest guest
Hi Robin- Glad to hear that all went well with Kaitlyn's fitting! The drive is the worst part but it gets to be second hand after a while. Hey will you be up there this Saturday again? Our appointment is at noon, email me if you will be (walte02@...). We usually take Jake to the park to feed the ducks and run around for a while if we are leaving for home right after the appointment (We found a park with a lake but haven't found a playground yet- If you turn left out of Beta Drive go to the main intersection turn left then the park is on right at the end of the construction. I think you take a right at the duck sign once in the park and follow it back to the nature center. If at all possible we drive to the south side of Columbus to the outlet malls then I can let Jake run wild with daddy while I shop! Congratulations on your way to round noggin! mom to Jake (19 mos) DOC Band 5/27Robin <steven_g@...> wrote: Just another update...I love this group!
