Hi Val!

Uh oh indeed! Yikes. Did you have an exit cast done? I'm sorry you

fear she's regressed.

Why don't you make an appt w/Cranial Tech & have them take more

photographs to compare them to her exit pictures?

It must be regression week. There was that post from Willow's mom,

and I have been questioning it this week also. Good to know I am not

alone!

Hi ,

It does seem to be regression fear week indeed! I'm sorry that you

were not able to post a more positive update. I was thinking this

same thing and we hadn't done the exit cast so all we had to compare

with was pictures. Do you have a comparison you can post? We had

the angles taken at graduation recreated at CT, but overall it is

impossible to know. We came to the conclusion that she still does

have enough flatness to gain something out banding her again, so

we're doing it. It has been four months since graduation and though

I don't know if she regressed, I can say she cerainly hasn't rounded

any more! It's a really hard decision, definitely harder than the

first time around (b/c like you said it's just SO much better than

it was a year ago), but I know that we still have a very small

window left so for us it is now or never. I think if her head

didn't get any better on its own that she probably won't be happy

with her head shape in the future, so we'll try all we can while we

can. I hope you take pictures and see that your eyes are just

deceiving you and that Jordyn looks just like the day she

graduated! Please let us know what happens.

Thanks for the support (once again!). I have called CT and they are

pouring her exit mold. I am SOOOO happy that we decided to do the

exit cast. Now we'll really have something to compare it with. I am

waiting for her therapist to call me back to see if she wants to see

Jordyn before the exit mold is in. I swear, today her head looks

totally round. Maybe I'm just imagining things. Her head was

never " perfect " after the banding, just tons better. Maybe she's

just destined to be a " block head. " *LOL* Her head is still pretty

wide, though she no longer looks brachy from the front. Oh well,

guess we'll see what CT has to say about it before I get myself any

more worked up than I already am!!

- Good luck with the next band. I'm with you, if CT decides

Jordyn needs to be banded again, we'll probably do it. But it is

definitely a harder decision to make this time around.

I'll keep everyone posted as we find out more. Thanks!!
