He also will be sending me (from Womens Pharmacy in Arizona , not

sure if anyone else is getting there meds. from here) Adrenal

support , Progesterone combo with something else and Hydro-

cortisone .

>

The raw adrenal enzymes or whatever it is...adrenal cortical

product...made at Women's Internationl in AZ is fantastic stuff from

what I have heard - supposedly the BEST anywhere...they say you only

need to get that ONE TIME and it fixes you right up (I have heard it

is expensive, like over $200.)...the natural hydrocortisone is

Cortef...the put theirs in olive oil in capsules...sounds like you're

on your way to health!!

Got to talk to mt new Doctor

Hello,

I just wanted to report that I got to talk to my new doctor, DR. Jace in North

Hollywood. Well he has me taking 1/2 grain natural thyroid and my reg. Synthroid

125 mcg for seven days , than will up the natural 1/2 a grain and same

synthroid for 7 more days than I will drop the synthroid . I can not remember

what he said about how much natural he will have me take after dropping the

Synthroid . He will be testing again in three weeks . He also will be sending me

(from Womens Pharmacy in Arizona , not sure if anyone else is getting there

meds. from here) Adrenal support , Progesterone combo with something else and

Hydro-cortisone . I really feel he is going to help me get better and I really

liked him. I was first upset he wasn't at my first appointment with him , but he

was really sick and he called me the next morning. He asked me how I was felling

....when I get up in the morning , during the day , at night , and so on . He

ended the conversation with... " We will work together to

make you feel better , my goal is to put a kick in your step in the morning ,

FOR THOSE THREE KIDS OF YOURS!!! " That sounded very caring to me..... I'm not

sure what my test said exactly , but he said my T4 were also low and he will be

sending me a copy with a packet of other information about what he thinks my

body is going through . I think I have gotten a good start on getting better ,

and I want to say thank you...To who ever started this group , everyone who

shares their personal struggles , their stories , who adds info in the files...(

this is what really put the fire under my feet...)..Just Thank you to you all!!

Wish me luck and any info or input is much appreciated.

Sounds positive ,

I have so much to learn still...LOL

The cortef ( Hydrocortozone) Do you think three months is a long time to be on

this???

Dr. Jace thinks that my insurance will cover most of this , the one he isn't

sure of is the Progesterone mix. I hope they will pick up most of the cost , but

I have to tell you I'm only down $6.00 as of now. (The price of the natural )

Makes me :)!!

Olive oil...hmmm

I cant wait until this shows up on the door step...Not sure what all Im

getting..

I called them when the doc put my son on Cortef and asked if their as

better than the one from, say, Walgreen's...she told me it's the

same, bioidentical hormone (cortisol, i.e.hydrocortisone), but they

put theirs in capsules with olive oil for slightly better absorption

or use by the body...she told me it was the same, though. My blue

crss does NOT pay for the compounded hormes, BUT that is most likley

because WIP will not subimit the claim to BC...there is another

compounding pharmacy that does submit it right to your insurance and

therefore, most of the time the insurance would pick up the cost or a

large portion of it...I have yet to try the other pharmacy myself and

am waiting for a new script form my doctor. Lots of luck!

No - they usually prescribe it for about 3 months at a time and then

reassess...that is a short amount of time, but it is feasible it may

be enough.

my bill looks like. I hope they send me some with the Olive Oil...since it

seems my body is not absorbing much ..as of now
