Guest guest
Yes, I mentioned it to another DR and he mentioned it is not uncommon. I also was given iodine and kelp when with Hashi I needed to suppress not stimulate. I stopped the NP protocol. Re: sick from licorice root > I felt jittery, and anxious. Had headaches. Tired then racy switching minute by minute. Pain in my back. All went away when I stopped the licorice. I didn't have any of that...I actually felt good on it, but after I had sharp pains in my kidneys, I got scared and stopped taking it...although I had taken it for years without a problem, I hadn't taken it for several years when the pains started. I thought it had to be the licorice adrenal support, because it would happen within an hour after I used it. In the past, I have had problems with kidney stones whihc were like fine grains of sand, and I was worried it was that coming back.
Guest guest
With Hashi's you need to supress? I have hashi's. I am hypo. My thyroid is already suppressed. Guest guest
Iodine in any form stimulates the thyroid. For people with Hashi, we need to suppress the thyroid so we don't have an antibody attack. Re: Re: sick from licorice root Yes, I mentioned it to another DR and he mentioned it is not uncommon.
