I felt jittery, and anxious. Had headaches. Tired then racy switching minute by

minute. Pain in my back. All went away when I stopped the licorice.

Yes, I mentioned it to another DR and he mentioned it is not uncommon. I also

was given iodine and kelp when with Hashi I needed to suppress not stimulate. I

stopped the NP protocol.

I didn't have any of that...I actually felt good on it, but after I

had sharp pains in my kidneys, I got scared and stopped taking

it...although I had taken it for years without a problem, I hadn't

taken it for several years when the pains started. I thought it had

to be the licorice adrenal support, because it would happen within an

hour after I used it. In the past, I have had problems with kidney

stones whihc were like fine grains of sand, and I was worried it was

that coming back.

With Hashi's you need to supress? I have hashi's. I am hypo. My

thyroid is already suppressed. Please help, I am not understanding.

Iodine in any form stimulates the thyroid. For people with Hashi, we need to

suppress the thyroid so we don't have an antibody attack.
