Guest guest
As you may already know, GF Delights closed a few months ago. I used to regularly order their frosted cut-out cookies and their chocolate chip cookies for my daughter, as well as their GF bread cubes for making stuffing at Thanksgiving. Does anyone have a good source for substitutes for these items? The cookies tasted just like regular sugar cut-out cookies. Also, I have been making my daughter muffins using Miss Roben's GF muffin mix. Do you have any recommendations for other muffin mixes that you like? Thanks! Guest guest
Shirley, I have a good homemade sugar cookie recipe (thanks to a friend of mine who is a ROCK mom in San Diego). It makes great large sugar cookies... even the kind like you would see decorated on the cover of a Martha magazine. They look great, taste great, and freeze well. These are awesome for decorating. I have also used the 'Cause You're Special Sugar Cookie Mix, and that has worked well. However, the cookies seemed to " puff " up a bit sort of like a biscuit would do. This mix did well, but I still prefer the homemade recipe I referred to. I would use this mix if I'm in a bind. (Our SillyYak and non-SillyYak did like this mix though). ~Melonie > > As you may already know, GF Delights closed a few months ago.
