I have a question for those that are at or close to their goal. When you

got to a certain point in your weight loss did you sort of feel the

pounds coming off? I am about 25 pounds from goal and I swear I can feel

myself getting thinner every week. I don't really know how to describe

it. I can see it when I walk by a mirror and I can tell when I'm putting

lotion on in the morning and my ankles feel smaller and little things

like that. When my daughter climbs on me it hurts more cause she's

getting bigger and I have less padding. Maybe it's because I am

exercising more often and firming up too. I dind't loose much this week

(1/2 pound) but I still feel thinner. It's just this strange but really

neat feeling!

I also think I'm becoming adicted to exercise. I keep getting these

weird fidgetty feelings like I have lots of energy and can't sit still

for very long and I have a need to exercise to get rid of it (or build

it up maybe). Anyway, just wondering if anyone else experienced this or

if I'm just going nuts ;o)

I can relate to addicted to exercise. If I don't exercise, I get jittery

and I can't sleep as well.

And my body looks better when I've been exercising regularly.

And this is not insane at all; it's healthy and your body is loving you for

it.

In fact, I think it's Covert who contends that being fit is more

important than being at the ideal weight.

Good to know that I'm not insane :o) I can honestly say that I NEVER

thought I would enjoy exercise so much. I made it through the first six

months on WW without doing any! It wasn't until I was two or three

months into my plateau that I decided maybe I should get off my rear and

do something. And even then I didn't enjoy doing it, it was just

something that needed to be done.

I know exactly what you mean. You can indeed feel it, and as you get

closer to goal I think it's easier to know just by looking whether you'll

have a gain, a loss or a maintain. I know this isn't always true because a

person can lose inches but the scale may stay the same. But as I get closer

to goal I can indeed tell by my toning and how my clothes feel whether I'll

be a " loser " or not in a given week. This week, for instance, I felt such a

change and sure enough a pound and a half was gone. So no, you're not

crazy--unless we both are!!
