Guest guest
Hi Lynne, Welcome to the group--and also, I'm so excited for you and your son! I hope everything goes accordingly, you will be in my prayers to get that kidney as soon as possible. I am 21, awaiting a kidney transplant as well...Take care. > Hi Group! > > Just had to share a bit of good news. As I shared last week my 28 year old son is preparing for a transplant, probably in Novemeber. His younger brother and I were worked up as possible donors. We received our blood work results and cross matching. I was a good candidate 3 out of 6 antigens. However, my youngest son (Matt) was perfect 6 out of 6. Matt will be having his last phase of evaluation Monday, chest x-rays, EKG, ultrasound, and physical exam. Just had to share the news. The transplant is going to occur around my oldest son's birthday therefore his brother said he would not be buying a gift, just a kidney. What a beautiful love bond between 2 brothers. > > Thanks for allowing me to share. > > Mother (Lynne) > >

Guest guest
These are my results on 180 mg (3 grains) Armour daily (1/20/04) Test In Range Out of Range Ref. Range T4, Total 8.7 4.2-11.6 UG/DL TSH 0.02 L MIU/L I also got my results from November while I was there... TSH - 16.88 H MIU/L (No range on lab sheet) T4, Free - 0.6 L Range 0.8-1.8 I've been taking adrenal support as well taking my armour sublingually after reading suggestions from some of you. I still am pretty tired. My hair continues to fall out like crazy. We just moved into a newly constructed house in July and my hair has clogged up the showers in both of our bathooms. (My husband had to clean it out because the water wouldn't go down in both bathrooms!) Thanks for any input! Lynn...
