Guest guest
Fabulous Weight Loss Award 2005 was a year of famous losses. Kirstie Alley flaunted her 50-lbs. slimmer frame in Craig ads, Star Reynolds is half the size she used to be and Hollywood mom s proved babies do a body good. Kirstie Alley: Yes, we are all sick of those commercials featuring Kirstie Alley overacting her way to the bank with her Craig endorsement deal. But honestly, the formerly 'Fat Actress' looks great. She's dropped 50-plus pounds and says, " I want to be healthy and lean and have fun. " Alley's won our bid for an Incredible Shrinking Star award this year. Star Reynolds: She hasn't lost any of her luster, but Star Reynolds looks like she has lost half of her body weight. The motivation for the loss is clear: Her new husband. Star said of Al Reynolds, " When he carries me over the threshold, I don't want him to get a hernia! " For her empathy and her new figure, we award her the Incredible Shrinking Star of 2005. Oprah Winfrey: This one is a tough call. Oprah's put us through the ringer over the years. Oprah's heavy. Oprah's skinny. Oprah's heavy again. How can we trust her recent loss of weight -- and more so her toned body -- is here to stay? Well, we can't. But for some reason (maybe her new devotion to a Pilates routine), this time feels like a winner. The Celeb Moms: s, Heidi Klum and have all made pregnant women everywhere want to throw their 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' books at them. These celebrity moms dropped their baby weight in record time. s posed for 'Playboy' months after giving birth; Klum strutted down the runway weeks after son Henry was born. These ladies have definitely earned themselves an Incredible Shrinking Star award this year. --Lili Zarghami
