Guest guest
I am very honest with my journal, even when I overeat. This way I can't say " I was so good, why didn't I lose " . It is easy to forget how much you have ate if you don't write it down. Water and consistent exercise has been very important. I have learned the hard way (plateauing) to vary my exercise routine and my points, but all is well now. It certainly is coming off a lot slower now but I'm ok with that. I am 5 lbs from the top end of my range, personally I would like about 12 more pounds, but we will see. At 5'10 " I am tall and not petitly structured at all and I am still a 38 D so I have a lot left on top. " They " must weigh something! I'm not concerned about the weight coming off slower now, I think it is my way of learning how to maintain. I splurge a " little " more often now, but usually it is with banked points or AP's. How could it not be worth it at this point? 68 lbs is a lot of excess to be carrying around. No wonder I was tired all the time. I didn't have the energy to keep up with my own kids let alone my daycare. And as I've mentioned before I battled with anxiety and depression for years. I am still on a low dose of antidepressants, but no where near the amount I was taking 10 months ago. I can shop in regular stores now, which is cheaper by far and you have many more choices available to you. I don't avoid swimming with my kids anymore. I can tie my shoes and go up flights of stairs without going red in the face and feeling out of breath. I feel as though I have been on an incredible journey since last summer. I have learned a lot about myself and why I ate like I did. I believe in the WW lifestyle, and truly believe it is something I can easily follow for life without feeling deprived. When I really crave something, I allow myself to have it. If I don't have enough points I have a small amount and exercise a little more and I am a little more careful the next few days. Holidays, parties, cravings are a part of life and they will always be there. Moderation and regular exercise are key! Thanks for asking. 240.5/172.5/165 Diane Loupe wrote: > wasn't bragging about it, but look how much weight she's dropped. > 68 pounds!!!!!! > Jen, tell us what has worked for you, gotten you through the tough times. > What has kept you on the path of lower weight.
