Guest guest
I'm glad you enjoyed the articles . Hannah's article was on the front page and she was quite the celebrity for a long time! We even had someone recognize her a month ago and that story ran back in July! I think the more papers who write about plagio the less stares and odd comments you'll get, so getting the word out is the best thing you can do. Though the stares may bother you at first, you can rest assured that Cole will love the extra attention. He won't have a clue why more people are staring at him, so he'll just chalk it all up as attention for being his charming self . There arent' too many banded babies around here, so we do get lots of stares, but I always take it as an opportunity to educate people. I met only my second banded baby in public tonight after over a year of Hannah being banded! It's a small world--the mom recongnized Hannah from the Cranial Tech calendar even! Cole will be very proud of you when he's older and knows all you've done for him . , mom to Hannah, DOCband #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > I was just reading all the stories that were published in local > papers about children with Plagio. Guest guest
I have actually never seen a banded baby other than in pictures on this site and Cranial Techs, actually I had never even heard of a baby being banded for flat spots. I just thought it was something that my child would have to live with for the rest of his life. Even our ped. told us he would either grow out of it or just deal with it basically. Then my aunt from Boston told me that she had seen a news report about helmets, so I started looking around on the internet and found out about Plagio. This site has been so helpful, and stories like Hannah's are great. Reading her story really helped me have a better outlook on the whole thing. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!
