Please help us decide on possible product variations. If you are

celiac/grain sensitive, etc., how concerned are you with other

nutritional aspects of GF foods? That is, how concerned are you with

fat content, cholesterol, carbs, eggs, butter, etc., versus the

concerns of a general food shopper, especially if those ingredients

help compensate for the absence of grain-based ingredients to make

the product more tasty?

(You may answer by number)

1. Not at all concerned.

2. Somewhat concerned.

3. Mostly concerned, but make some exceptions.

4. Very concerned---I am a " health food " shopper over and above GF

needs.

Thanks!

Whose survey is this, how will the info be used, what is the privacy

policy of those collecting the info, and how do you submit a reply?

This survey is not being doing by SillyYaks, but is being done by a

MEMBER of SillyYaks. If you choose to reply, you should probably

reply directly to the sender of that post. I don't know what is

being done with the information, but I would imagine they hope to

use it for formulating nutritional/ingredient information on their

brownies. I believe this member has a line of GF brownies available

for purchase over the internet.

(Generally speaking, all SillyYaks generated surveys, are done as

a " poll " through our website, and you have to click on a link which

will take you to the survey/poll page, and you click on the answers

you would like to submit. Most of these are private, and if it is

not, it would state so on the particular poll.) Hope this helps.

We could find no button for " Create a Poll " in the polls section. This is

strictly for our own use and we will pay no attention to the names,

addresses, etc. of any who choose to reply. Thanks.

My thoughts are #4 Very concerned. I find that the fat content in GF foods is extremely high as well as the calorie content. Not very person with Celiac Disease looses weight. About half can gain weight and if there is heart disease in the family history already, eating all this high fat content food is not good at all. Thanks!

According to the scale, I'm a 3 1/2.

I am a lacto-vegetarian, with high cholesterol (292), and I have a

severe wheat allergy. I am very concerned with cholesterol content

in addition to wheat content.

Is anybody responding to this?

I think it's pretty neat. I've noticed a lot about the contents in

foods, now that I read labels all the time. I know the fat content

and cholesterol amounts in a lot of foods, whereas before, I didn't

notice at all.

I don't worry at all about any other factors. I eat whatever I want,

so long as there is no gluten.

Yes, we have a dozen or so responses; statistically okay from a few hundred

potential. The average answer is right around " 3 " which is what we have

been using to market and make product decisions so far, anyway. Although,

lower cholesteral/fat/carb items may come.

It would seem that the answer is like what we would get from the general

(non-celiac) public: Hey, I try to eat right, but once in a while I treat

myself!

Thanks!
