Guest guest Posted November 18, 2004 Report Share Posted November 18, 2004 i didnt say to much on me which most hre know me but you newcomer i go ahead and write a little my name is cheryl i live in texas been married to a wonderful man for 35 yrs we share one daughter who is the apple of my eye and we have 3 beautiful grandkids who can get by with anything around momo well sometimes and i had breast cancer adn i am a SURVIOR! I GOT breast cancer march 1995 so i will be 10 yr this coming march so this yr we will have 2 thanksgivings one this coming week and one in march doris gave me this ideal last yr when it was doris 5 yrs she did this and mad eme think to do it on my 10 yrs, when they found it on me i didnt find it or the dr but the mammogram did i wnet in for a lump on my right breast and they found the cancer on my left i had radiacal masectomy they took 17 lymph nodes out and 1 sweat gland 2 came back cancer so i had to have chemo if it wouldnt of came back cancer i wouldnt of had to have any chemo i took 5 yrs tamoxifen after chemo was finish and i go for my yearly mammograM I WALK for susan koman foundation and i know the lord saved me to be able to talk and help other woman who are going through it but i was just given my graduation papers that i am cancer free and i am so happy cheryl -----we go out for holdays thanksgiving and christmas is a special time of the yr my sweet lil mom loved cooking for the holidays her and dad both together and now me and cliff do the same reminds me of mom and dad how they did the same and i try to keep tradition going and also make some new traditions with my family well i hope all of you and your family have a very happy thanksgiving cheryl Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
