Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this site. I live in MO had my lapband put on in 2002 in GA. I have discovered the hard way that to make it work for you(wls) you have to have aftercare frequently during your 1st year. My surgeon was 12 hours away. A mistake yes, but the band got me back the ability to have normal blood sugar. I lost 70 pounds and have gained back 40. I am now in the process of gathering the info together before I can have an appointment at the Univ of Mo to have the rny. I am 5'9 " and have a bmi 0f 57. I have the comordities of high blood pressure and arthritis. Has anyone else gone from the band to rny? What can I expect? Thanks for your help Amy
