Guest guest
Hi I'm in the UK, and we're currently looking into what can be done for our son Robin. Whilst I've quite a lot of print-outs to read through, to summarize: it already looks like the NHS is going to be of limited help and that calling Medistox or Kings College / Dr Blecher is the best course of action. I'd be grateful of any other suggestions to get him speedily assessed and, if need be, into a band. Guest guest
Hi Thanks to this site I emailed Dr Blecher on Friday, had a reply same day and saw him on Sunday. He assessed our son and made a cast for a helmet the same day - we get the helmet in 2 weeks. I highly recommend you contact him. Guest guest
Philip, Welcome to the group! We have several currently active members from the UK that are very helpful to new members joining from the UK, such as yourself, and I'm pleased to see you have already received a couple of replies to your post! I'll yield to their advice, since I don't personally know how the healthcare system works over there. Would you let us know if we can be of further help to you and your son?
