Guest guest
Hi Sheila, I really don't know what to think, all I do know is that I am becoming really exasperated by this whole sleep thing. Last night I tok 3mg and did not sleep at all. At 1.30 I got up and took another 3mg and still did not sleep. I haven't changed anything in my routine or medication or anything else from the day before. Yesterday afternoon my feet, ankles and hands started swelling up again. Don't know what causes it, as I said I have not changed anything so I don't know why it happens. If I can get a decent night's sleep I feel ok, not great but ok. Without sleep I am hopeless......and feeling hopeless too! Lynda Melatonin Hi Lynda I have taken Melatonin for the past 6 months and it is wonderful. Mine are 3 mgs. tablets and I cut them in half and take half every night about half an hour before I go to bed. I start to feel a little drowsy and I know it is time for bed. I wake every morning around 7.00a.m. and I feel fantastic - really awake and alert. On a couple of occasions I have taken the full 3 mgs tablet and I remember both times that I woke well after 8.00a.m. and still felt 'heavy'. I think that in the case of Melatonin, if you are using it for sleep, 'little' is best. Luv - Sheila
Guest guest
Shiela, I can't find my book right now, but I have Melatonin Miracle by ???. The best I can remember, it says to start with on mg 30 minutes before bed. If your not asleep in 30 minutes, take another tablet. Repeat every 30 minutes until you find your dose. I take nine mg every night. I can't remember the upper limits, but I will look for my book. Also if you live near a town with a large book store, you could probably find it. You wouldn't have to buy, just read the page or two with those instructions. Guest guest
I didn't see it listed on pecan bread. I am going to just give Kenzie for a few days his Kirkman's zinc and magnesium but I also wanted to give him Melatonin. It's from Nutraceutical. I think it's ok. It has cellulose, magnesium and kosher gelatin capsule. Is this ok? Thanks Penny
