Guest guest
it's so frustrating! As first-time parents who had not been around infants a lot, my husband and I took a " baby basics " class through our hospital's childbirth education. They talked a lot about back to sleep but, of course, nothing about watching out for plagio. Then we practiced swaddling for a half an hour!! Yikes! > i wonder how many kids in the past 12yrs havent rounded out ya know, i mean it started here in 92 that is when my oldest son was born granted i didnt put my kids to sleep on their backs most of them were belly sleepers but still i know tim littlefield told me kist today have wider head than say us, becuase of teh back to sleep campain he said that kids that sleep on their bellys tend ot have longer head shape verses the ones that sleep ontheir backs but 12yrs is a long time to see these sort of kids and some ped maybe newer ones seem to be very plagio educated and some speicalisct as well just hard to explain to them why alot arent i dont really know why alot arent i dont know why this information isnt giving to every new mother to help prevent this why are they soo slow to get in line with things i have no doubt in 10yrs things will be differnt for our grand kids but still just seems hard in the mean time > Hilly > mom to 6 > ages 12,7,5,4,2,8mos > > > Re: looking for a better response regaurding naysayiers on plagio > > > Hi Hilly-- > > I might mention that it has a lot to do with the " Back to Sleep.
