Guest guest
I tried to make these today and they were mush. Who has successfully made these and can you tell me step by step how you did it? I am trying to stay away frum nuts of any kind for awhile. Thanks. Alice
Guest guest
I made these yesterday. I boiled the chicken, then put it in the processor and ground it down. Then I measured out a cup as called for. I pureed one good sized banana, added that. Instead of squash I used 1/2 cup pureed pear, we can't use squash and I thought it might make it taste better. Added whatever else it calls for, I forget now. I also added 2 sweet n low in hopes that it might be more appetizing for the kids (we can't use honey). My kids don't go for muffins so I dropped it on parchment paper and tried to shape it into cookies, just flat and round as I could make them. Then I baked as long as recipe calls for. They turned out well, bottoms are slightly browned, but the kids went for it. Especially the baby, she's the one not eating any meat right now so that was my main goal with this particular recipe. Don't know if this helps at all. in NC, USA mom to Luke, 5, Asperger's/salicylate intolerant/diarrhea pre-SCD; , 3, healthy;,19mos,healthy; SCD going since 1/26/04 Chicken Cupcakes > I tried to make these today and they were mush.
