Guest guest
Hi Laurie, I am post op and take centrum chewables along with two whopping citrical each day. I have to chom down hard on the pill to make it small enough and then swallow quickly. There may be a liquid form of calcium citrate that I am unaware of. I live in a real rural community and our choices are limited. I've never looked online. I have heard that all other forms of calcium are just about useless to us. Ask your doctor or nutritionist. Guest guest
Hi Laurie. You can take Centrum Chewables even though they contain calcium carbonate. We do not absorb calcium carbonate so you will want to supplement your vitamin regimen with 1600 mg of calcium CITRATE or you will develop a calcium deficiency over time. Not good! Our e-store sells Bariatric Advantage vitamins designed for WLS people. I love theior calcium. They are chewable and come in larger mg tablets so I have less vitamins to take everyday. They also taste good. I prefer the chocolate and cinnamon. Please consider purchasing them from us if you have the need. http://gastricbypassloserssupportgroup.com/ Robyn > > Hi Everyone, > > I am pre-op hopefully having surgery end of March or early April.I > have been taking Centrum Chewables for about a month now.
