Beth,

Will you please post the link to Dr. Koop's Web site? I tried Dr.

Koop.com and it says:

The drkoop.com URL and web site is not associated with

C. Everett Koop, M.D., former Surgeon General of the United

States.

Copyright © 2002, Vitacost Holdings, Inc.

Additionally, clicking on the " weight loss " link takes you to a

supplement selling company (who is the copyright holder).

I'm sure that's not the right site...right?

Thanks,

Lynne

Well bust my hide, I didn't even notice that!! Goodness, it just

isn't right that people can take a well respected person's name and

use it for their own gain.... But I still do stand by the validity

of that weight chart.

And, just to validate my own thoughts on it, I checked with the

U.S.D.A. site (yup, made sure it was the official one! lol) and they

are even MORE generous (and, IMHO, more realistic):

http://warp.nal.usda.gov/fnic/dga/weight.htm

I like their chart better. They have me as two pounds less than MY goal

of 130. WW has me at 123. I have been at 115 and looking at the pictures

I look gaunt. I liked being at 130 cause I was skinny but still had

curves in all the right places :o) I figured I would see what I look at

130 and then decided what to set my goal at.
