Guest guest
, Try a little bit of baby oil and a baby comb. I hope your ortho is able to get a better fit soon. I'm sorry she's out of her helmet again. Guest guest
Hi KAren, Baby Oragel makes a great cradle cap shampoo. Its called Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Treatment. It has done wonders for both my kids. I fought for months with my ds trying to get rid of it and found that shampoo and bam it was gone. I hoep you can find some and try that. It works great. The scales are turning white because of the lack of air. Not a bad thing so dont freak lol Its kind of like when a scab gets wet or is under a band aid and it changes. When it is like that try using a very soft baby brush and run the brush over it. See if it will remove any of the scales. Sorry to hear about the red spot of Angelinas head. I hope you can get the adjustment you need ( if thats the prob) and she has it back on with better results this time. Guest guest
, My son's cradle cap finally went away when I stopped using baby shampoo. I switched to the Loreal Kids Blueberry Smoothie and it was gone after two or three shampoos (I used a comb to gently scratch off scales before shampooing). We had tried everything and it seems each baby reacts differently so I hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi , When my daughter had cradle cap, I'd take one of the soft infant brushes and gently scrub her head (in a circular motion) while I was washing it. That got ride of the cradle cap almost immediately :-) Have you taken you daughter in for an adjustment on her helmet since you made this post? If not, you should call and have it looked at at the very least. You are right it keeping it off in the mean time. Try the hairbrush while washing. It really works. , mom to Makenna LLUMC helmet grad.
