Guest guest
We flew down to San Diego yesterday for a five minute appointment at Cranial Tech to check Peanut's band. Then we turned around and flew back to Seattle. It was worth it because IT'S WORKING!!! They had to carve out two places so he'd have more room to grow. YIPPEEEEEEE! Next trip, June 15. This trip was an absolute nightmare because we were both so tired (I have a disability so a long day is really a struggle), and when he's tired he can't tolerate the flight or being strapped into his car seat. He shrieked nearly the whole way home from San Diego, then had a StupendoPoo that nearly cleared the plane even though we were still in the air! People were talking about opening the emergency doors over the wings. Oh, no, that wasn't embarrassing. Come on, ladies, I need stories of your most embarrassing baby stories so I don't feel so bad. , 18 mos, tort, plagio, DOC Band as of 5/7/

Guest guest
, I think your airplane story takes the cake! LOL....Sorry, I have no stories like that to tell (yet). I'm posting because I wanted to say how awesome of a Mom you are to fly your little one that far to get the best of the best treament. I consider myself a pretty good Mommy, but I dont know if I would have gone that far to fix Pj's little head. How exhausting that must be just for all the fitting appts!!!!!! I know there are other equally awesome Mom's (and Fathers) on this site too that travel great distances. Good luck, prayers, hugs to you all in your journies. Guest guest
Wow, thanks! I figure he deserves a normal start. I would be really upset if, ten years from now, research emerges showing that untreated plagio results in X Y and Z. I hate second guessing myself so this way I know I did whatever I could. I'm sure he'd be fine either way but this way I don't have to wonder. I'm sure other moms who were reluctant to put their kid in a helmet feel the same way. And it's not like he minds (airborne stupendopoos aside). If I try to take the helmet for cleaning, he pitches a fit, and boy does he love stickers! , 18 mos, tort, plagio, DOC band On Wed, 26 May 2004 16:45:46 -0000 "bobobear4u2000" <datadatum@...> writes: ,I think your airplane story takes the cake! Guest guest
Good luck with Jake! Where are you going to get your band? I have to say that the Cranial Tech folks are absolutely outstanding. You can look over my previous posts to see my opinion of most other medical providers who have seen my son, so that is truly a compliment. The diet has regressed a bit. He is so crabby from the hard day yesterday that he is refusing anything but Boobylicious (a.k.a. breastmilk). It's the Return of the Velcro Baby! I'm too tired to cook today anyway. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a growth spurt for Jake. , 18 mos, tort, Doc band On Wed, 26 May 2004 10:42:56 -0700 (PDT) walters <teresaandmark721@...> writes: WOOOHOOO ! Guest guest
I have a nasty poopy story for you. When Aidan was 3 weeks old we refinanced our house. I couldn't take him to a sitter because I was still " trying " to breastfeed. Anyway, he hadn't had a bowel movement in like 5 days but the ped was unconcerned. We took him with us to the closing attorney in a really nice office building. We are signing 50 million papers and Aidan is in his carseat by me. I start to smell something and he starts to cry. The attorney gives me a " eat crap " look so I pick Aidan up and I'm signing the documents with one hand as fast as I can while still trying to read the fine print. Then the gushing starts to happen.....mustard poop started squirting out the side of the diaper and outfit everywhere! I pick him up to run to the bathroom but do you think that there is a changing table???? Noooooo, that would be too nice. Somehow I hold him up in the air while poop is dripping all over me to clean him. Not sure how I survived but it was definately the most gross experience I have had to date. Guest guest
Hi , Though this didn't happen to me (I have no stories of my own to share like this) it happened to my neighbors. They had a baby and then afterwards decided to get married. The morning of the wedding my neighbors mom gave their lil guy some juice, not realizing it was actually prune juice... he had a bottle of it. Well, at the wedding, he let loose... he had a little white tux on and soon it was covered in baby doo. Makes me gag thinking of it, but your story made me chuckle though I'm sure it wasn't funny for you at the time GREAT that he's showing some improvement! Even better that you take so much time to travel so far, what a great mommy!!
