What are your WLS challenges? Please share your trials and

tribulations with the group.

Personally, I am frustrated with my yoyo weight loss. I am up and down

the same 5 pounds. *Sigh*

I am NOT a gym rat. I need to find an exercise or physical activity I

can stick to on a regular basis.

This woman is post menopausal and developing a spreading waistline!

*Sigh*

I need to increase my daily water intake and stay away from Starbucks!

I am having great deal of problems keeping my weight under control the past

2 weeks!!! I have done great the past 7 1/2 months of this pregnancy overall,

I had gained 17 pounds, now in 2 weeks I have gained 9 POUNDS!!! We went

camping this past weekend and my family babied me and cooked up a storm and I

sat around and ate... I am having a great deal of problem with those darn thin

mint girl scout cookies, and am so glad they are all gone!!! (sending the

last of them to work with DH tomorrow!!!) While gone I did not get all my water

in, but a good majority of it, so I started downing it again yesterday... My

OB assures me it's water weight, BUT I know its all the down home foods I

have been eating and am going to try better tomorrow... All my blood work is

perfect and I am doing well except sciatic nerve pain, I have asked Little Miss

na Leigh nicely to move over but she seems to be comfy... I have a

picture of me at 32 weeks, but am having problems loading it to our site... I

hope

everyone is doing well!!!

I hear you Robyn, I am not a gym person either, and I am so glad to hear

someone else admit it!!! I was feeling pretty lousy thinking everyone else has

converted into gym rats and was wondering what was wrong with me, I have just

never have enjoyed it... Let's get our water in tomorrow, I will email a

reminder to sip sip sip...

With Starbucks I switched to a short ff nf latte (short is 8oz) and that

helped.

I drink a short Non Fat, Sugar Free Hazelnut Decaf Latte when I walk in with

my kids they ask if I am going to have a " Why Bother " and I say yep:)

I battle the same 10lbs. I go up and down and live in Alaska where it is harder

to keep things even in the winter.

I bought an elliptical machine this year and so things are getting better.

With Starbucks I switched to a short ff nf latte (short is 8oz) and that

helped.

at the present time, i am frustrated with:

the fact that i have increased my exercise and

modified my diet to include more protein, but i am

still bouncing between 244 and 240!

the fact that i go out and tell myself i'll make a

healthy choice for food and then i don't.

the fact that i can eat sugary items and NOT get sick.

the fact that my clothes don't fit right but i refuse

to buy anything else for the winter~!

the fact that i have a walking buddy but no gym buddy!

maybe next month these will be different!

My WLS challenges is I have platued for a month now. I went out and bought a

gazel, I walk with my son almost every evening while he rides his bike. I have

trouble getting all the water in and the dr. has asked that I increase my

protein. The protein shakes I have tried all go straight through me. A friend

seems to think I may be lactose intolorant. Anyone have any suggestions on a

different protein drink? I've tried Isopure and can't keep it down. I've tied

all the flavors. I had surgury Sept 13, 2005, I weighed 230, I'm at 173 - 178

it keeps going back and forth.

My wls challenge is that i am making no progess, I get down to a certain weight

and watch what i eat, workout daily, and end up gaining weight. I started my

journey at 356 lbs. For the last 2 days i have weighed in at 199 lbs. then this

morning i went back up to 200 lbs. I know it might not sound like such a big

deal, but to finally break the 200 mark only to revisit it is very

discouraging, and this keeps happening me, I really don't know what to do.l

could really use some advice.
