You made my day to hear from you! I am relieved to hear you are back on

line, but sorry to hear you are having to endure so much pain still, in addition

to putting up with three different doctors.

Please don't worry at all about posting, just an occasional update to let us

know how you are progressing.

This hasn't been your year has it?

We will keep you in our prayers my dear , and please know we are all

pulling for you to get resolution quickly!

Sigh! I am so sorry to have caused you and anyone else to worry, I am

here and well toughing it out. I have been without a PC for over 2

weeks so couldn't log on anyway.

Anyway I am going through the medical rounds right now, I am under 3

consultants, for can you believe 3 different problems. Urology,

Nephrology and Neurology. To cut a long and boring story short, I have

arthritis of the spine, with trapped nerves in L6-9 hence the

Neurologist. Urology for bacterial growth on the lining of my bladder,

and Nephrology for sludgey calcium deposits in my right kidney, not so

much stones, but sludge. The problem is, which part is causing me this

sickness, and pain they just don't know. I am extremely fatigued, and

just a tad peed off with spending a lot of time at the hospital, I

simply have not had the time nor energy to post here, I am really am

sorry about this, you know how much this board means to me, and how much

I think of you as my friends.

Surgery is likely for my spine, but I shant know for sure until the 10th

July, Nephrology won't commit until 26th August, and Urology want to

wait to see what the other two consultants come up with, so you can see

how this is developing. Luckily I have managed to hold on to my sanity

and can even laugh about it now and then, but then I have got the

support of my wonderful GP and my family. I am also trying acupuncture

right now for pain, and am having great success with that, as well as

extensive physio 5 x a week for my back.

Now I am back on line, I will make it my business to update you

periodically, but I really am not up to responding to other messages

right now, I hope you all understand.

I am becoming increasingly concerned about . Has anybody heard

anything

from her lately? I know she was so sick and in terrible pain, but we

have

not heard anything in such a long time.
