Guest guest
Sorry , I don't take fish oil, so I can't speak from experience, however, I would always prefer taking a capsule rather than a liquid of any kind of medication.
Guest guest
That's a new one on me. I've never heard of liquid fish oil before, except cod liver oil. Are you sure it's not cod liver oil you saw? If so, be careful, that's not the same thing as fish oil. Pierre Liquid Fish Oil > has anyone ever tried liquid fish oil instead of the capsules. i was in the health food store today, and a girl told me that she likes it better b/c it comes in either mint or lemon flavor so that you can't taste fish at oil. just wondering if anyone could second that. > > thanks, > > taylor >
Guest guest
When I did fish oil, I tried a kind that was foam. It just dissolved in your mouth and tasted like orange juice. It came in little pouches that you snipped the end off. Sounds strange doesn't it.
Guest guest
Not too strange. I remember we discussed this product on the group a while back, but I can't remember the name of it. The only disadvantage is probably that it costs more. Pierre Re: Liquid Fish Oil > When I did fish oil, I tried a kind that was foam. It just dissolved in your > mouth and tasted like orange juice. Guest guest
You can get fish oil by the 8 oz, 16 oz bottle from $7.00 to 12.00 and you do get more Omega-3 for the tablespoon full. Obviously the greatest advantage is the price over capsules. The disadvantage is the taste and the brands that are flavored, really don't mask the fishy taste. A 1000 mg cap of Fish oil contains 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA. A teaspoon of the liquid (Dale ) is 850mg EPA and 500 mg DHA. Guest guest
Hi Jack, Now that is a savings! Thanks for letting everyone know about it. I know I'm always double checking fish oil prices for good deals. Guest guest
Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Even if I was taking fish oil, I'm not sure I would want to drink it as liquid though. Yuk! The capsules are bad enough. I know there's no way I would be able to digest that. Guest guest
Dear , Since I started the no gluten, no dairy diet and the fish oil I am almost always a little uneasy on the stomach. I take the fish oil at night only - 4 grams. Do you think that could be why my stomach feels slightly uneasy during the day? I don't feel nauseated, it just feels like I drank way too much soda or something -- almost like heartburn. Thanks, Rotghi > > > Date: 2003/07/01 Tue AM 10:53:01 EDT > To: iga-nephropathy > Subject: Re: Liquid Fish Oil > >
